That probably depends on what level of violence they think is acceptable and how "offended" they are by homosexuals. I'm sure some support attacks, some accept it as something that happens and maybe deservedly, and some may be against it as violence even though to them homosexuality is not acceptable. What is most bothersome is the people who claim to be Christians and against homosexuality but also don't mind horrible violence towards them.

First, what the heck is a "ordinary homophobes"?

Second, if someone is a homophobes, I doubt they will support these people going to jail.

When one idiot attacks someone for who they are, that proves there is something wrong with them. I certainly don't agree with the lifestyle of gays, I am not homophobic, nor do I agree with "gay bashing".
