if this is how you evaluate political parties, it doesnt suprise me much if your a liberal. your right it doesnt matter and they have loads of record producers and businessmen who make money using a different type of creativity. it isnt just the artist that makes the song and the record. being a good politician demands creative and driven managment with a profit or self reliant strategy in mind. thats a concept few if any liberals understand and/or preach. to answer your question...again, they make wonderful music, but not in the way you implied.

Because rock has generally been dominated by liberals. I really can't offer an in depth reason. My guessing is that republicans tend to be more serious, and music is generally made by a relatively younger population.
