I've seen to many friendships get ruined over one person lending the other money, so I don't do it. Ever.
Friends have asked, and when they do I politely decline. If they ask why or whatever, I explain my reason, and they have always respected that and remained my friend.

What's there to be careful about? You either lend it or not. I lend money to others. It always comes back. Maybe not from the same person.

I don't lend money to start with ...coz then i wont be fighting with anybody at any time .....
So i just don't do that , i would rather give if asked than the...
lend me .. and i will pay back soon, and that soon may turn out to be years .... and hatred comes in and your friendship is ruined for good ....
No ways.....lol

im careful NOT to lend money to others. only people that can get money from me are immediate family. and my girl... she doesnt need to give it back though...

They take advantage of the situation so loans become gifts in a hurry.

Yes. I have seen people become enemies due to money, and it was normally due to a non-ability to pay back.
