I call my dog Barbossa because he has a grey, scraggly beard and likes apples! :)

LOL! this is funny because once, years ago, I realized that my cat had over 48 nic-names that I had given him!!!
My present little ball of fur, I haven't counted, but here are a few;
Bug, bugland, chicken, chicken-licken, muffin, muffin-land, wookie-cookie, etc.
I have no idea where I am coming up with these, but I do amuse myself and she seems to enjoy it. : )

Most of them are kind of obvious. He got Chubby and Fatty because when we adopted him he was a bit overweight and I like the way Fatty rolls off the tongue. Poops is Pups with a long U.

Brown Brown
Piggle Wiggle

my chiahuahua/ jack russel (Toby) and chihuahua/ daschund (Mikey) have so many nicknames. Toby gets called Tobias, Toblerone, Toberson, Young Tobleronay, Muppet and many more. Mikey gets called Mikerson, Microsoft, Mikes, Mr. J Fox, Monkey, Squeeker, Midget and many more. They both get called the "The little Mutha ******" and when i come home from work i yell "BABIES!" and they come runnin.

My dogs all have many nicknames. Mae gets called bella, bell, maebell, brat, maemae - all which are obvious links to her name. Grace gets called gracie, sweetie, lou lou - I have no idea how we started calling her lou lou though. And Beau gets called buhbuh, stinky, dinky, or Kelso because he's good looking but not very smart.

We barely even remember our cat's real name - Cole. He's Greyboy to us...especially when my son was little, it made perfect sense. Also, Mr. Xiu Xiu, Meatball and on occassion Stupid are other names.

I call my dog "stupid" sometimes...
Why? If you knew my dog it would be obvious...
Sometimes I call him "Chang" - his name is really Chance, but the vet made a mistake on his paperwork once and called him Chang.
