I enjoy like rock and roll, jazz, chanting , gospel, some country, elevator music. I remember when going through my divorce in San Antonio I saw this giant fancy place out in the woods and drove up and they parked my car. I went in and a giant big band was playing while people ball room danced. Anyway I went to have a cocktail and there were a million ladies dressed up in evening gowns. I was approached and it was dark, but everyone there was a senior citizen.

Anyway had fun dancing and got invited to the polo games. Those little ladies danced the stuffings out of me. It was pretty wild and i was worn out. Fun place. Outside Texas mesquite trees, inside the 40s with the big brass band. Seriously they had long velvet curtains and alll the trimmings of a time gone by. like I was in another world.

I enjoy other music and this time of year I like the Christmas music. I also like most tunes. Easy listening.

I like old time country - sometimes. Mostly during the holidays when I'm thinking about my folks.

Otherwise, I really like Spearhead, who is kind of reggae, funk, rap, 60's, rock.

I love foreign music. I think the voice becomes a true instrument when you can't understand the words.

I like all the top 40 stuff so I stay current.

I like 60's.

I like Big Band.

I like some 80's. 70's? ehhh, ok.

I love Elvis when he sings the classics. What a voice! And Bing Cosby, Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand.

Some of the modern Christian music is just great.

Lots of stuff.....

I went to a New Year's party a few years ago at a Winery Museum in Grass Valley, CA. They had 3 stories and a separate band on each floor. One was a Big Band - Old Rock mix and that is where we settled in. Funniest night of my life.

Another enchanting night? In El Paso, many years ago, my husband and I went to see Earnest Scrubbs. That man was amazing and I will never forget the honor I felt just to be in his presence. Waltz across Texas.... Miles and Miles of Texas....

The Christian pop of the 80s, and the pop music from '85 - '95 are my favorite years for music.

You have eclectic taste, RJ! (Are you really a radio DJ who takes stuff home and never brings it back?)
