In an attempt to regain some Christmas spirit around here, I thought it would be nice if we could all have a turn at saying something nice about somebody else on the board, is there somebody whose answers really hit the mark or perhaps someone that just cracks you up laughing and you want them to know or is there someone that is just wacky (but in a nice way)?
Here's my picks;
I like reading Conalovers answers - she's got a smart head on her shoulders for such a young one.
Debi - tons of common sense and very down to earth
PH - always makes me smirk especially when she rips me about my 80's lipstick (long story)
Mike and Kicking Bear - nice to get the male perspective on the chick board :-)
So who would you like to give a nod to and wish Merry Christmas?

Jane - I have to agree with you because the support and emails I've got regarding Slew has been really amazing and quite touching that people cared so much about him.

You have to laugh that people are so sad and bitter that they feel the need to thumbs down a question such as this - guess some people just don't have goodwill to all men!

There are so many great people on here.
First off, you. I like how you post a picture to better explain what you are talking about. Your education and experience are a great asset for people asking questions.
Debi always has a practical look on situations, and to the point. I like that.
Mdolittle and her common sense. So glad she was able to save her orphan foal.
Mulereiner, what can you say? Love her humor and the ability to say something politely but you can read between the lines as to what she really means. I still want to go to one of these auctions with her!
Kicking Bear, I am thinking about buying his book, he seems to have it together.
And then there is Daisy, Mike, and so many others. I know I am forgetting people.
The one I miss though, is silvaspurranch, the retired vet. It is like they just disappeared this summer. I hope everything is ok in their world.
Great question, and Merry Christmas to everyone!

Awww this was so sweet to read after coming home from a rec league where we are dealing with a violent player (kicked me in the back while I was on the ground), so thank you for the nice words.
I have a great deal of respect for many folks on this board, yourself included. I know there are several of you I can count on for informative and compassionate advice.
The folks whom I find rude, I just red dot :P or allow them to lead by opposite example.
I really enjoy Cowboy's wit
Kicking Bear gets mad props for being an amazing horse archer (*envies*)
I really enjoy your (Lisa's) anecdote about all the places you've lived, worked and competed and all the disciplines you've tried out.
MRs mules steal my heart, but that dirty wench best keep her mitts off my pirate saddle!!!! ;) :P
Debi - I love the British perspective on ownership and reading what its like to have horses in the UK
Jeff and Mike offer a great "guy" perspective and I hope more lads wil follow them into the fray. We need to hook MR up, afterall! ;)
dressagerider - offers solid advice but is open to new ideas as well
There's more, I'll come back for an edit, now I must zzzzzzz.
Just wanted to say thanks for perking up my evening, and a very MERRY CHRISTMAS to our mystery thumber downers! I hope Santa brings you something to make you happy.

I have to go with the flow here.
Lisa, MR, Biscuit, Debi, Doolittle, Starlight. I enjoy just checking in just to see what you are all into or up to...
I don't seem to have many answers for folks because most questions I notice deal with English riding & I haven't got a clue!!!!! There is also A LOT about showing which I NEVER did either. We were ranch/rodeo folks. Now we are home/small ranch/ropers/parents. But I will chime in even if it is just for a smartaleck comment....I'm good at those...
MERYY CHRISTMAS TO ALL & HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Well, Lisa, you win the charm AND nice AND knowledgeable cookie. (I now imagine a charming Brittish accent when I read your posts.)
Mule--what can you say...funny and smart.
I enjoy Lusitano...Biscuit...can76...mdoo and I have something in common, with our bottle babies.
PH is articulate and presents her view very well. Even if we don't agree all the time, I do respect her.
TexasNascar, Doggone, Rollin NJ, hhqh, and RockyMtn are all great too...and deserving of a lot of respect because they are putting their money AND their efforts where our mouths are regarding helping rescues...
twhriders ... Caps and Lower case, shoo in!
Gee I hope I didn't forget anybody...the guys...Mike and Bear are interesting too.
And, as for the turdmonkeys who thumbs down a sweet question like this...snark them all, let God sort 'em out. ;o)
