Really and where did you hear this from?
Considering it is a pile of nonsense either you just made it up or whoever told you did.
In fact Clinton's promise to freeze the estate tax at 2009 levels is effectively a tax cut for the richest 2%.

Ok - so if we go to Fox News we find this.

It doesn't mention 60% and in fact reinforces that Clinton wants to keep the 2009 levels rather than let the tax return in 2011 to 2001 levels.
In other words Clinton wants to maintain a threshold of 3.5 million instead of returning to 1 million and wants the tax to remain at 45% above that threshold instead of 55%.
You have this completely backwards.

The estate tax has been in place since I think the 70's and introduced by a Democratic Congress. It has been increased several times and was increased last in the 90's I believe by a Republican Congress.
I have not paid much attention to the latest about it, but if a person is elected to any government seat they should not participate in robbery of the rich or poor.
This estate tax is so extreme it constitutes being defined as robbery. Even a disguised as a tax can't hide the fact that when you take this much money from a family it is robbery.
God bless.

Estate taxes...what a joke...first...you tax me on the money I make...and if I put it in the bank...you tax me on the interest it draws...and then if I die...they tax it again. As if the income tax didn't get enough of it the first time through.

Let's face it...some folks think there is a thing as "too much money", so they do the "noble" thing and try to level the playing field. Nothing noble about taking what's been earned.

I have not heard this, but it is consistent with the Hillary Clinton socialist philosophy, so it would not suprise me. Be sure not to vote for her, or it could cost you a bundle.
