Seems as if you are arguing that such things as the recent shootings prove the point that violence indeed proves something.

NOT so.

They prove nothingness. They do not resolve any argument in favor of violence, but rather that violence is ultimately and totally self-defeating. they prove that the violent person is at a dead end and has nowhere else to go, and nothing ever to gain. They prove that only rejecting violence opens possibilities.

to say one is non-violence,is violence. opposition in any form is violence.perhaps violence is to harsh a word.conflict would more tame.but does not conflict lead to violence?,in one way or another? non violence is violence.
