I love having the motorized belts in my car, its nice not having to actually put the belt on. My friend and I went to the store yesterday in her car that has the same kind of belts but she wouldnt drive until I put my lap belt on too, Ive never seen anyone so anal about it. just wondering if im the only one that never puts theirs on. thanks!

yes you should where it thats why its there and im pretty sure that if you got pulled over and didnt have it on that you could get a ticket

you are required to by law to wear a seat belt in the state of california. the lap belt is part of the seat belt system. I used to own a 1990 acura integra with those things and it clearly states in the owners manual that for the car and seat belt to properly provide you with saftey the lap belt must be worn.
i would not drive you either with out your lap belt sorry. you could be ejected from the car if you are in an accident.
