Why have some famous actors, among other libs, made Mumia Abu Jamal the posterchild for anti-death penalty?

With that, why did some groups of people take Tookie and do basically the same thing??

I can think of better people in which to make that point, like people wrongly convicted....

According to Jesse Jackson, Mumia is a "poet" and poets should not be put to death. Logic and making sense have never been high on Jesse's to do list.
