I fell over the weekend so it's been about 4 days and the bruise looks worse. How do I get rid of it? It's not really painful unless I run. Otherwise it just looks horrible, purple/black.

There's really nothing you can do to speed up the healing process of a bruise.

It will get better on it's own. Just try not to do excessive stuff, like running! :P.

The blood has rushed to the surface below your skin. That's why it looks so bad. Just take it easy and it'll heal.

Well im not a doctor nor am I qualified to make accesments so you shouldn't take any merit in my responce and should consult a doctor. Now to my responce. I browsed the internet and it said you should apply an ice press of sorts immediately for swelling which may be too late. They said vitamin k lotion helps and such. Vitamin C. Vitamin E cream might help too. That sort of thing. Maybe you will find a cream that can help. Well adios . although I didn't read this anywhere, aloe gel seems to always be good Lol
