When are you going to crush them by saying he isn't real?
How are you going to explain it if they find out on their own?

To irish_matt1971, The Nag, shelby f, ♥Jen and all other people who believe and keep the Spirit of Santa in their hearts, I asked this be cause I've been hearing this vicious rumor for years that there is no Santa. He is, if we believe.

I'm 56 and believe I just wish people acted like that all year around.

Yes, I have kids that believe in Santa. I also have kids that will probably do as I did and never say that they don't believe in Santa. Even to this day, when I am home for Christmas, my mom puts stuff in my stocking, and I still get excited. I don't see why a wonderful tradition like Santa's gifts have to end.

No, but I ruined this little kids childhood the other day..my boyfriend and I were picking out a christmas tree, and he makes fun of me all the time because I wish Santa was real..and I picked out a small but cute one, and he goes "no! Santa won't fit all the presents under that one!" and so I said Shut Up, I know he's not real!" and we just kept kidding around, and thenw e realized this little kid was next to us and then he runs to his mom and ges "Mommy, why is Santa dead?!"

I felt horrible..and then we ran away haha

Well, I have an only child who still believes in Santa. I'm not going to crush it to him, he's only four. I'm going to let him grow old and learn there is no Santa. But I dont think any adult would still believe in him, right?

I have 4 children and my 3 and 4 year old learned about santa through television and they believe he is comming to our house.
they even look out the window at night asking if he is here yet.
I probably won't tell them any different, they are smart kids and eventually they will figure it all out without me having to break things to them
