It's a funny animated video short. It might be called "Se La Vie", or "C'est L'amour", or something like that.

It's all line drawings, and mostly done in B&W, I think.

The guy approaches a girl, and asks her on a date. She screams at him and he slinks off. He walks up to another girl, and compliments her on her outfit. She yells at him to back off, and punches him in the stomach. He approaches yet another and just asks what time it is, and she stabs him. Things progress this way, with him getting more and more timid, and the girls' reactions getting worse and worse (I may not have the details all correct).

Finally he approaches a girl and says, "I have money." She hugs and kisses him, and hearts appear in the air.

The end.

It's funny, and would love to find it again. Anyone seen it?

...I know exactly what cartoon video, which you are talking about; the great animator exhibitors, Spike & Mike, almost always show THAT one at their Sick & Twisted Animation Film Festivals. To find it, one might only have to pull up the DVD collections of cartoon and animated shorts, find the title of the one you're talking about, and perhaps find it on YouTube, or something...

...if I find it before you do, I'll post the webpage here...

(edit)

...looks like you found it before I did; for anyone else out there, who might be privvy to, or interested in this question, I am posting the webpage, showing the animation...
