It depends on your definition of sober. I think that one drink on the way home should be okay, but if you come home tanked from work then your GF is not being unreasonable. Also, it depends on whether it is a daily occurence or just something you do occasionally.
Try to compromise with her, and show her that you are willing to be reasonable and so should she, that way you sort out the problem like mature adults!

I don't think she's bein' unreasonable. You could get a DUI if you're not careful. She's just worried about your safety.
And besides, I would be so sad to see my BF come home from work drunk, cuz I'd rather have a sober conversation with him, than tryin' to help him walk straight.

Very unreasonable. You need time to stop and unwind after a long day at work.

Stopping at the bar seems reasonable to me ....
as long as you are going home to HER each night ....
:)
But if you were MY BF, I would probably either meet you at the bar after work and have a drink with you ....
or ....
sweetly ask that you come home and have a drink with me at home ... in our boudoir ....
*wink, wink *

i hope your joking.
she is not unreasonable. she is wanting you not to be drinking and driving...which is very dangerous.
and she just wants you to be safe.
and im sure for once, she doesnt want you tripping and slurring your words all the time.
