We are trying to determine whether or not in-laws are aquired along with everything else when you get married. Is my sister-in-law now his sister-in-law as well? He is trying to tell me she is not related in that manor.

Yes because your sister is now his making her husband a brother in law to both of you. He was in lawed into the family

She's your sister in-law not his.
But, my family considers in laws to be aquired along with everyone in their marriages.. so my fiance considers my brother inlaw his brother inlaw.

Yes she is. Does he consider your brother to be his brother in law? He doesn't have to like her but he has her.

he is right .. your wrong.. unless it is your brother wife your talking about.. if that is the case.. than yes,, she is his sister inlaw.. how can your brother be his brother in law if his wife is nothing to him
