Your life is going to get better soon. You'll see.
Until then, watch: Clerks, Caddyshack, Frankenhooker, Shakes the Clown, Van Wilder, and Used Cars.

Euro Trip
Revenge of the Nerds
Space Balls
Liar Liar
The New Guy
Shallow Hall
Road Trip
Stripes
**Funny Action-Adventure Options**
The 5th Element
Big Trouble In Little China
The Mummy
I would not recommend Dogma, Pleasantville, Bruce Almighty, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Evan Almighty, or Monty Python's Life with Brian. Though these films poke fun at religions, these themes are rather close to the type of thing that goes on here in R&S. You said you wanted to take your mind off of your life for a while, these films would only serve to remind you of the battles you wage here and stir up your advisarial emotions rather than getting you to relax. So, like I said, I wouldn't recommend them in this case.
Of course another option, instead of comedy films, you could veg-out and watch little kids films like...
the 1st Harry Potter film
Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius
Finding Nemo
Monsters Inc.
The Incredibles
Ice Age
Labrynth (w- David Bowie)
or any other animated kids film
If you don't feel like completely vegging-out you can go for a slightly older "pre-teen" kids film, and partially veg-out to...
The Monster Squad
The Goonies
Agent Cody Banks films
The Lizzie Maguire Movie
Sleepover
I find that just vegging-out to simple kids films is a good stress reliever and a decent way to "escape life" for a bit. You just think back to simpler days, watch the movie unfold with its simple and obvious storylines, rather than trying to notice and catch hidden plotlines/innuendo, or tracking every bit of action.

Knocked up was pretty funny. Anything with Will Ferrel is a great bet. I saw about 20 minutes of Chuck and Larry and was laughing through what I saw. Lots of people made great suggestions.

1.) Dogeball --- I agree with the girl who said there are some great quotes from it. "Nobody makes me bleed my own blood, NOBODY!" AH HA HA! I love that movie!
2.) Anchorman --- Only Will Ferrell (sp?) would throw a burrito out of a car window.
3.) The Emperor's New Groove --- This is one of my favorite Disney movies because it's soooooo random! David Spade as a llama, how awesome is that?!?!?!
Anyway, I hope that whatever is bothering you goes away soon.
