I'm a Finance major, so should I take this course in class to get a better understanding? Taking it online would be more beneficial and convenient for me.

But can you learn more about the subject taking the course in class vs online?

Macro is very... boring, haha.

I would say you are OK either way because there isn't much interaction with this course - much of it can be learned by strictly reading the text. The classes for this are usually quite large anyhow (~300/class at my school) as it is seen as a simple core class, and not a concentration.

I had it in class (went to a brick and mortar) and I never showed up - some crazy Russian professor that I couldn't understand anyhow. Still got an A.

Take it online.

Do NOT Take Macro online.... I was an Econ major, and I am telling you, Macro has alot of difficult concepts to understand, plus it will be helpful to understand in your finance work! Take it in class

I tested out of it in my MBA program and then it bit me in the butt when I took International Business (depended on a lot of macro). But if you take online you should be OK -- it's mainly a lot of theory and application.
