Is it red, swollen or warm to to the touch? Did you injure it - what was happening when you first noticed the pain? It could be a DVT (blood clot). Get it checked out, it is probably nothing, but it could be something, so it is better to be safe than sorry. Look up the symptoms of DVT online and if you even think you might have one than DO NOT MASSAGE!!!

hmmm...Well I agree with the first responce, you should go into the doctor and have it looked at. Especially if you have medical and there is no financial reason not to. I am not a doctor nor am I good with guessing on medical matters so unsure what else I can say. If there is money reasons not to go or you don't have medical you should look into a low budget clinic of sorts. Ummm... As for a guess you shouldn't take any merit in, I would say you might of strained your leg doing something since your active or something to that effect. But the whole leg hurting is kinda weird. Maybe stretched the leg wrong if you stretch a lot or aggreviated a nerve or something. You won't know until you go into a doctor. Hope you get feeling better. If its just a strain or something simple then anti-inflamatories, ice, bengay, heating pad, and such might help some. Well go to a doctor. adios

I'd recommend going to see a podiatrist for an evaluation. Seeing that you are very active mother, there may be something in the way you walk that cause stress on your left leg. A podiatrist can watch the way you walk and see if you need to be fitted with an orthotic (special shoe insert) to help support your feet better so you don't overstress certain muscles groups during your active day. Until then, take Advil/Aleve as needed and if there's an area that really hurts - use some ice (20min on and 20min off). Hope this helps!

I think it would help to communicate what you want and need before the fact. I know it's hard when you're so used to putting the needs of everyone else before your own, but men are not mind-readers and their needs aren't the same as ours. Most of them don't understand why this sort of thing is important to us at all. Tell him you're arranging your calendar around the upcoming date. Remind him that it's coming up and ask if he has anything special planned for you yet. Drop hints - mention a nice restaurant and say you'd love to go there for a special occasion like "--- day." Tell him you're turning --- years old and he'd better get something nice for you to soften the blow. Remember that he will only see a certain date as important if he knows that it's important to you. If you do all these things and he still drops the ball, then he's either not listening or doesn't care what's important to you -- and that's something to be truly upset about.

Get off the computer and go to urgent care right away. If you can't even walk across the room something is seriously wrong and you need to go see a doc ASAP.

you probably have a nerve damage or you pulled a muscle. Massage your leg, try to feel which area hurts the most and contact your doctor.
