I was thinking about buying tickets for my fiance for Christmas, but I'm not sure if it's better to go or watch it on TV. The tickets that are left aren't exactly the best seats in the house. Does it really matter where you sit, or is it more important to say you were there? Would you like it if your girl got you tickets to the All Star Game? Help me out here guys.

Serious responses would be just fine.

Is there a door number 3?

Really, the All-star game for any sport doesn't hold my interest.

I think if you're getting him a gift and he's a fan of hockey it would matter little where he sat. The fact you got him something like that will win you BIG points. Merry Christmas.

I never enjoy the game that much (I like it when defense is played), but after a few days of all-star break, I'm so starved for hockey that I have to watch it. So yes, I will be watching it. BQ: 1999. First North America vs. Europe game and the last All-Star game for Gretzky. If was an awesome event for my then-teenaged eyes.

Hockey is much better in person than it is on TV. You can appreciate the speed of the game much more, witness the precicion of the line changes, feel the hits, and just enjoy the atmosphere.

I would really love it if my wife would buy us tickets to the All Star Game.

Sure I'd go. I would always chose going to a game than watching it on TV. IMO, the all star games aren't always the most exciting games, but I would like to go and see the best players in the league. I would like to go to the skills competition as well.

I would much rather go! And no seat in hockey is really that bad. It's not like football, where they look like they're a mile away. I've been in the 300 level in HSBC arena, and you can still see what's going on. I'm sure he'll loooove it if you get him tickets!
