It would be better to get a digital camera. A digital camera has higher resolution photos, plus it comes with the equipment you'll need to transfer pictures from your camera to the computer. You could take bigger, better, and much clearer pics as well, versus just having a camera phone. You might also want to do research on the internet, cameras with fast shutter speeds are much easier to use. At least 6 megapixels or more for clear pictures. Some also have video recording capabilities. Do research on the internet, look up prices on www.newegg.com, and cross reference them with www.ebay.com.

That would be a personal preference. Of course, a camera phone is going to produce poor quality photos, at best. A digital camera is going to produce very high quality photos, and is going to be able to hold many more photos than a camera phone.
It may be hard to find a camera phone that will allow transfer of photos through a USB. Just because a phone might have a USB cable so that you can connect it to your computer, does not mean that you will be able to transfer photos through it. Most often, cellular companies charge you $0.25 or something to download each photo from your phone. This can get very expensive very fast.

Considering the rebates on cell phones, it would be cheaper to get a camera phone than to buy a digital camera. And although new digital cameras are available that are very thin, it is more likely you will carry the camera as a phone and have it available for quick pictures. I have a bigger more serious camera and have just recently become use to have a cell phone on me and am already thinking that having a cell phone with GPS and camera would be very convenient.

I would just buy a camera. I don't know how good the cameras are on the new i phones, but most of the time the camera on a cell phone is not a very good one. It doesn't take very good pictures. You would be better off w/a digital camera.

If you just want to show your face get use a phone camera, but if you actually care about the quality of the pic then invest in a digital camera. Trust me you will notice the difference. Better yet get a phone cause you need one and more than likely it will have and camera, and get yourself a camera too!

it would be a lot easier to just get the camera it is a lot easier to upload to the computer, but depending on the price, because its always nice to have a cell phone to!

A lot of new phones will send your pics right to myspace without hooking anything up to a computer.

get a phone...you have the phone all the time but the camera is big and you wont always have it with you

it takes better pictures.
or you could get a really really good camera.
but i think digital camera is the best cause really really good camera phones are really expensive.
