is it bad that i still don't take a language like spanish or frence in 8th frade because i didn't know how to sighn up when i went to 7th grade, but if i am going to apply for a college to like Yale unniversity, how many yeasr of language should you take???

Don't worry. If you take four years of language in high school, that will be enough. Two languages would be even better, if you have the aptitude. But I would definitely do four years of one language.

It doesn't really matter. It depends on what you are interested in majoring in. If you are majoring in English, you need something like 4 years. But you can always just take a language in college. It's ok, I'm in 8th grade and not taking a language. In fact, my secondary school only offers 4 years of a language. So I know it's not a big deal if you don't start until 9th grade.

Nope I started a language in ninth, but most colleges you need two years and you can take 4 if u want so it will be okay =]
