And yet Wal Mart can sell many drugs at $4 per fill. There's too much screwy in the power structure of our nation. Time to start over, from scratch - a convenient time to declare international bankruptcy and bail on China - a new constitutional amendment to keep ALL property and property rights in citizen's hands, and make it illegal to sell our land to other nations - even allies, and repeal of all taxes and tax breaks except a consumption tax, which won't discriminate against citizens purchasing goods and services in their own country by making immigrants (both legal and illegal) pay the same as we do.
If things don't change this presidential election, there may not be another true choice - the one party system is beginning to see that people are against it, and they have a LOT of power.

I 2nd all that suthrnlyts suggested. in basic terms including that not in basic terms is it attempting to get investment from an ever reducing tax gross sales source. This "more suitable" new child well-being care equipment additionally coated offering investment for the thousands and thousands of anchor toddlers and illegals right here now. So no remember if or not it "could" have come from an identical monies getting used for Iraq, that still does not make it proper. Bush has been incorrect on many themes yet a minimum of he became clever sufficient to nicely known this. Why do not a number of you human beings end taking issues at face fee and actually inspect what those so talked approximately as "sense stable" regulations particularly propose?

The childrens health bill SCHIPS program,is already in place and no kids are without, the bill the democrats are trying to pass is extra money for 25 year old children(and Bush offered them money when they tried it the first time,he didnt offer enough so the democrats said No!This amount only!! so he vetoed it the first time) .Its a scam, something else for the fat cats to skim off of.Its also a paving stone for national healthcare(not a good idea). It almost as bad as lottery for schools(still they always ask for more money at each election) or the Tobacco tax imposed in California by Rob(meathead) Reiner.Seems he came up with a problem with some of the money missing, can we say democratic coffers?

Bush is concerned about PORK? You mean the president that has approved the most Pork in inflation adjusted dollars of all time?
The one that used the line item veto and signing statements that are unconstitutional more then any other president?
Yeah way to blindly support that guy.
God forbid we would use some tax money to support the middle class. Instead of giving it to Mega Corporations that move their headquarters out of our country to avoid paying taxes.
We do Cons hate the middle class / themselves so much?

Me.
Signing that bill would have done permanent damage to the medical system of the US and forced millions of Americans off their high quality private medical insurance and onto poor quality government care.

An excellent example of how "spin" works...
The lead could just as easily been "President rejects legislation that would have allowed middle class families to use health care funds intended solely for the poor..."
The lead could have also been "In a blow to Health Insurance Mega-Corporations and the trial lawyers that love them...."
Funny also how no one framed the Stem Cell veto as "A crushing defeat for lobbyist labs hoping to get billions of
dollars in Federal grants..."
Not tryin' to take sides here....just pointing out how they're not even trying to hide their opinions anymore...

The issues, like Bush, are irrelevant. He is not going to get 200 billion dollars for the war and he's going to be gone soon. Don't care what he does or doesn't do..... He is SOOOO over.
When he's gone, the war will come to and end and healthcare will be available to all Americans who cannot afford insurance.
I'm over Bush and Co....they are all crooks and liars and no longer have any relevance in the real world.

You have to understand where President Bush is coming from on these issues. One is of course his royal screw-up, but we need to finish the job and get on with life. The other is a bloated pig of a bill and needs to be tossed out and re written.
I might not agree with the Presidents views on most things, but on certain issues he has my support.

Chi (hugs) do you know all the pork that was attached to that bill? That is the reason for the veto.
I used to buy my prescription in Mexico. They were all made in Canada. i didn't save that much except a Doctors visit. Canada is making a fortune off us us at it is.

I diasagree and agree with him. I disagree that we should have ever even gone in to Iraq, but according to the Constitution it is not the job of the federal government to provide health care.
