1. In the first hour the boat that left St. Augustine travels 40 miles so now they two boats are 360 miles apart. They approach each other at 90mph (40+50) 360/90 =4 so they will meet at 4 in the afternoon.

2. The first bus goes 20 miles in a 1/2 hour. The second bus is gaining at 20 mph, so it will take another hour to catch it.
