I was walking to the place where the bus picks me up in the morning for school and it was dark because it was like 7am. Then the sky randomly turned blue. It was really bright for about a second, then it went back to being dark. There was a meteor shower prediction... But wouldn't meteors look like stars or something?

It was the whole sky too. Not just a little peice of it. I don't think I imagined it.. But it seems so unbelievable I almost think I did imagine it... Could someone shed some light on how this might have happened?

Outside of a manmade thing such as a nuclear weapon going off nearby (well, maybe not that because you wouldn't be around to ask the question)...you are likely imagining things. I started to think a possible meteor collision (I've seen these before, and it will cause flashes that light up the sky), but then that would cause a flash, not a quick change to a blue sky and back...that and it wouldn't be uniform across the sky. Your town doesn't happen to have any mad scientists or maybe a military testing base nearby would it? I smell conspiracy.

That sounds cool. I've no idea what happened. What country were you in?
I once saw a small spot of colors like a rainbow in the middle of the sky. Tried to get a picture...but, no.

You probably had a momentary pupil dilation, it let more light in, so you could see the colour a bit better. Your pupil then contracted, and your vision dimmed to normal again.
