The teacher talks in graphic detail about abusing and killing animals, among other crazy things she does in class. To my surprise, the principals and the superintendent will do nothing about it. I have even tried taking my daughter out of that class, but they refuse. Please help.. I am at my wits end with this school and the whole school system. is there anyone else who can do something?

Have your daughter bring a recorder to class. Record what this insane woman says and then send the tape to the local radio station.

You have the right as a parent to monitor your childs class. Some schools want you to make an appointment. Go to her school and ask permission to quietly sit in that class with your child. Try to do it the same day you ask permission. Don't interrupt the class, sit quietly till class is over. Even if you don't agree with what you hear. Talk to the teacher before class and tell her your child's concerns. See for yourself what is being taught and why. It's hard to answer this question because I don't know the age of the student or what the class subject is she has a problem with. There are two sides to every story.
I can not understand why they wouldn't move your child at your request unless that's the only class teaching that subject this term.
Oh and by the way, recording someone without their knowledge is illegal in most states.

Find out when the next school board meeting is and GO DOWN. During the audience comment portion, go up and tell them what is going on. Tell them that this is unacceptable and that the administration is doing notthing. Then ask them what you should do. The school board has the last word over the administration, usually doesn't know what is actually going on until someone brings it to their attention, and are usually one of two kinds of people. The first kind is the person who wants the position, but doesn't really care, and the second one is the person who actually cares about such things. You should be good in either case: the first kind of person will want to get reelected and it won't look good not to help in a public meeting, and the second type of person will generally want to help a situation such as this.

Go in person, it will definately help.

Write to the school board and detail what kinds of inappropriate things this teacher is saying. Give clear details; and make sure your keep a copy for your own records.

Have you thought about going to the Press? You'd better be sure of your facts if you go down that road because you're liable to get sued.
