It sounds like you first need to be honest with yourself about what you were doing. i know for a fact nobody goes to jail for 180 days on a simple shoplifting charge.
So now, can you be completely honest with yourself? Are you sober or do you need to find sobriety?
You need to make a lot of personal changes in yourself.
Then maybe, your dreams will come true.
Good luck. I will pray for you.

Unfortunately you can't get that respect back. It was something stupid that you did. All you can do is try to make TODAY a better day. All you can do is show him through your actions NOW that you've changed. If he's moved on, you have to accept that. YOU need to move on as well. It's hard to do, but you can do it. Have you ever questioned yourself as to why he reaction was so harsh? Therapy would help you out a lot.

You should accept the consequences!
You have children and your husband taught them the lesson of breaking the law through you, and you can hardly blame him for the actions you took.
If I were in your situation, I would begin life anew. Once you are stable, try for partial custody, but don't be surprised if you don't get it.
This is one of the things that parents try to teach their children every day; every action has an equal and opposite reaction; every action has a consequence; ensure that you know the consequences for every action you take and be willing to accept them as only you can take the action.

Read Divorce Busters immediately. Girlfriends often come and go.
Get counseling and recover from your shop lifting.
Go to church, get a support group.
Get visitation rights back with your children
Be super charming to both of them
Become a super parent so he can see you changed
Dress prettier, be sweeter than the girlfriend
When you get the chance apologize if you haven't already
Pray, God still does miracles.
Joy to you!

Respect has to be earned. You need to put that bad experience behind you and move on with your life.He may never forget what happened but you can earn his respect back by showing him you are living a respectful life style now.
My heart aches that you lost your children, but do go see a lawyer to seek visitation rights.Spouces come and go,but our children are forever.
God Bless!!

Unfortunately.. it was your mistake.. and with the choices we make we have consequences.. Who knows if he will ever be back, but if its meant to be well he'll be back... right now just worry about trying to get your kids and your life together..

You can't make someone love you, sounds like he moved on and there is not much hope. There has to be something to work with and I don't see anything! Sorry and good luck moving on with your life!
