Because the other dimension after death in this physical life
is that of a spiritual one. You can choose the spiritual one you want to follow.
1. Righteous : loving goodness or
2. Evil : loving the liar Satan
Evil spirits with Satan will be done away with by Jesus and the Angelic Body from Heaven. This is called Armageddon. Coming soon.
You need to know what the Truth is and what you need to do to be able to stick around somewhere. The Bible tells of the
" Good News " of the coming Kingdom of God on this earth.
The Holy Bible will help you on your way to proper spirituality
in the service of the God who gave you life.
Now you know.

Spirituality is just another form of connection we as humans need in daily life.. Some people need it and some people don't need it. It depends on how you grew up and the fundamentals of whats on your priority list. If its family, god, friends, school.. it really matters little, but the fact of the matter is.. That WE shouldn't live in a constant state of fear over what we should or shouldn't believe about a god or goddess that might SMITE us for NOT believing..
I don't think that's any way to live, I say believe in what you want to believe in.. and be satisfied with your own set of standards, not someone/something Else's.

Mysticism is the antithesis of reason. There is no spirituality, it's nonsense to say such a thing. All your feelings are thoughts. You don't feel magical unnameable things, you sense things and think about them. That's it. Love is not a magical feeling you get from romance with another person, it's a collection of thoughts you have about someone, that make you happy, remind you of happy memories, etc. That's it. You learn what happiness is growing up, which is why some people like one thing while another person likes another.

I think this is a personal value that different individuals will weigh differently.
It's important to me to recognize my spirituality, so I don't become a complete atheist. I'm agnostic if anything.
My mind tells me that reality is all there is... but my experiences tell me that my spirituality is real... even though I don't subscribe to any religion.

Its only important if you want it to be, but most humans find that there is more out there than science or logic can describe.
