i would say go with large to be safe...in case it shrinks and all....

i used to work at AE, i would definately say a Medium. My boyfriend is the same height but a little more built, and a medium was perfect b/c he liked it tight anyways. But the shirts are kind of short, i remember him not liking that about them. So either a medium or large! thats a tall boy!

go for Medium. My bf is about 5 8 or 5'9 and thin, he buys large - but wears his clothes baggy.
