also, it's in MLA format and the final copy needs to be 5-7 pages and is due january 9th (ish). i know how to cite that with the paraphrases and things and the work cited page, but i was wondering if i needed those details in my original or just the final.

You should type and use footnotes (or endnotes) along the way. If you cut and paste on the document, the footnotes will travel with the text Much easier that way. BUT, do an outline first in writing.

Are you handing this into an instructor for an on-going project of which you expect a grade? Type and cite footnotes.

it really depends on two things: do you have neat handwriting or fast typing, and is it a kind of long thing? because if so, you may want to type it. but what i do is i'll take my research, but instead of printing every page, i put it all in a word file, and then modify it to my every will!! MWAH-HAH-HAH!! ahem. anyway, like i said: it depends!

if you type it , it wil be eaiser for you bc you can o back and fix it when you write your final report. citations are great and so beyond needed.
