My mom said every time I told a lie a black star shot to Heaven. In Iowa on those stormy nights the sky all black, i use to think it was from my lies!!!!!

I was 3 years old and I was at the public pool and I got out of the pool and went over to my mom and said, "Mommy I gotta go potty" So she said she'll take me in a minute. I jumped back into the pool and got back out 2 minutes later and she asked if I still had to go and I said No. And she said that if I pee'd in the pool it would turn Purple. My eyes went big. It was mean but it was a pretty cool trick she pulled.

When I was about three, my grandmother was watching me, and I guess I was board because I decided I wanted to be a little mean. As my grandmother was sitting in her chair I started hitting her with a pillow "wham" I thought it was hysterical when she would re adjust her glasses on her face, finally she said, "Stop it now or ELSE" I totally ignored her and hit her one last time...As soon as that pillow hit her head the lights went out.
Things were dead quiet (I was drawing my breath to get ready to SCREAM because I was terrified of the dark) and my mamaw said..."Now, see what you did"
For a long time after that I thought if you hit someone over the head with a pillow the lights would go out!

If I crossed my eyes..she would say they were going to stay that way..oh she had so many!
She said never put shoes on a table...bad luck! Oh I could go on and on...her favorite...if I did something wrong..was God is going to get you! Oh that one use to scare me into being good for some time!

My Aunt used to tell me this little puff ball w/ eyes (she kept in a little cage) would come to life and eat me if I was bad at her house! I used to believe it, and it was only the size of a donught hole.

when i was little my parents told me that if i watched to much tv my brain would turn to liquid lol and my first grade teacher told us that if we ate our food while standing up it would go down to our feet ha

if i didnt eat all my food, the tarantula we had would eat me...
she used to put the tarantula in a cup at the dinner table...i ALWAYS ate my food!
