I currently have a fairly good paying job in the space industry. I continue to work this job because I get health care. Otherwise I would move to Oregon and cut firewood for a living. Ona counta California sucks.

How about you?

Health care is an important part to many americans who work and hold steady jobs but, it's not the only reason people do. The bills still come regardless if I work or not. So, I think I'd still stay at my job to support my family.

One group that sticks out in my mind who would be apt to quit their jobs if there was universal health care are wives who work because their husbands either don't have insurance or it costs too much where they work. Many women would be able to stay home and raise their children if not for the insurance issue.

I've never thought of it in quite that way. But I *have* thought about in terms of "If there were some sort of affordable health insurance available that was not intertwined with my employment, I'd apply for coverage in a red hot minute." Fear of being left uninsured for some pre-existing condition prevents a lot of people from changing jobs.

I would go back to school full time if I didn't have to worry about health insurance. I take one class a semester right now, and this two year degree is going to take me 20 years I swear. I would love to just finish that degree so I could get a job with it. It would only take me 2 semesters to finish.

No. Nothing is free we would pay the government $400 a month instead of our current insurance company. We would get to wait longer and pay for more out of pocket procedures then we do now. It sounds broken before Dem's even get it implemented.

No but, I sure would think it was a lot easier to do my job with free health care.

BWHAHAHA!!!

Free health care is going to put food on the table or pay for a roof over one's head??

No wonder our space program is in shambles.
