precipitation in summer, fall,winter and spring. I know it differs on where you live, but I need to know overall-in brief, if at all possible.

Montana is the fourth largest state. It has incredibly varied geography. Do you want to know how much in Glacier National Park?
There's a lot! Or try Ekalaka. It's pretty dry.
I live in Western Montana in a mountain valley. I can tell you that we've had a ten year drought, and the precipitation is quite variable. Look at www.weather.com
Try Missoula, Helena, Bozeman, Billings, and Hardin for a start. Missoula used to be called "Tropical Montana", although it doesn't feel to tropical today.
