Without looking at the tallies, I would say Andrei Markov, based on the season he is having and to be leading DMen in voting is beyond me. He hasn't even been Montreal's best Dman, let alone the best in the East.

I completly Disagree with Bob.
i am sorry but i belive Markov belongs there, and i think he IS the habs number 1 or maybe number 2 defenseman, he leads the league in defenseman scoring, and he is just a good player.
sadly, i voted for him ;]
I think Huet is the worst, if anybody should be there, then right now it could quite possibly be Henrik Lundvquist.

i think that Afinogenov is because there are so many other players that deserve it more than him. i think the guy that should be in his place is richards of philly because he plays hard for them everynight and is one of their top scorers.
also huet is ok at best and will probably replaced by price in the very near future so someone like biron, brodeur or even gerber should get it.
