My mom says that I can't use tampons only when I have had a sexual relationship. But then my friend and this girl website said you could use tampons. Which one is true and will it hurt?

If your mom says you can't it may be she doesn't want you to and not that you physically can't. I use tampons and I've never had sex. It doesn't hurt but if your mom doesn't want you to then you should listen to her she may have her reasons for telling you not to.

You can use tampons whenever. I'm 14, and I haven't even so much as kissed a boy never mind had sexual relations and I use the. I've used them since I was 13 on my second ever period and I've used them ever since. No, they didn't hurt me, although it felt a bit odd at first, but then after a while you can't feel it any more. I recommend using a tampon with an applicator (I use Tampax Compak) because they are easier for first timers and they are quicker. Oh, and don't believe people when they say that you aren't a virgin if you use tampons. The only way you can lose your virginity is if you have full sex (penis in vagina). Hope this helps xo

You can use tampons even if you have not been sexually active.
Just start out with the smallest size, probably light.
It shouldnt hurt, just feel a little different at first.
If it does hurt, just take your time, sit back and relax.
It will get easier each time, and after awhile you can go up to whatever size needed for your flow.
If you have never used the, be sure to read up on the dirrections and on TSS just to make sure you know everything.

There is no wrong statement. Your mom just probably doesn't want you to try tampons yet. You can use this before sexual activity. Ands it doesn't hurt the first time at all. If you are fraid of it hurting then try looking at the instructions in the box carefully and the for your first couple of times try using a mirror. In no matter of time you will be in and out of the bathroom in alike 1 minute.

I used tampons at age 11 when I first menstruated. I lost my virginity at age 21, so yes you can wear tampons.
It is whatever YOU feel comfortable doing.

you can where tampons whenever you want. you dont have to have a sexual relationship. i use tampons and i have never had a sexual relationship. and no they dont hurt

It may hurt your first time but it usually won't at all once you are used to it. I use them and all my friends and almost every girl I know does. It also depends on your beliefs, so decide what's best for you! hope this helps!
