You could have a chemical imbalance. Often, when there's nothing to be unhappy about, but yet you still are, there's a medical reason. Depression can just happen. I'm bi-polar, type II, and I'll be depressed and unhappy for no reason when my mood flips. Is there maybe something you have a real reason to be sad about? If you have everything handed to you, you may feel sad because you don't feel like you've earned things. You may feel this way subconsciously and not know it. It could also be that you are negative or pessimistic in nature (no offense). Try to make a list of all the things you're grateful for every day, even small things like lip balm. It's hard to be unhappy when you're thinking of how grateful you are.

You didn't say your age, but from the contents of your question I am guessing you are a teen. Depression in your teen (up to young adult) years is normal. It's a hormone thing. Your body and it's chemistry are changing and growing and this causes mood swings. Just understand and accept that this normal, glide through it, and don't take it too seriously. If it gets worse and you are crying or feeling like you want to do something bad be sure to tell a parent or an older adult close to you. Another thing you will hate to hear... exercise helps alot. Go for a walk when you feel sad.

I am the same way! I'm not even kidding...people are constantly telling me that I have the perfect life, but for some reason I never seem to be happy. I have found that by looking for the absolute good in others and doing service for them that that is truly what makes me happy. I found that praises of others and material wealth didn't usually make me happy, but the joy in others did. Hope this helps!! :)

i feel that way everyday at school. I walk to class thinking, "what on earth am I here for?" you seem to have everything to satisfy you...but then again you don't. i think it's just a thought. What i had to do was make myself happier. I had to give myself credit for everything I had in life, and how other people aren't half as lucky as me. some people don't have healthy relationships with their family. right? think about the people that don't talk to them. So, in the end, you have no choice but to be happy.

Happiness is a relative issue.. in other words.. its not what you own or have but what you do with the love within you. Not the love the world says is love.. but the love for helping others in the community, your family ...doing things for others makes you more happier than the things you own or accomplish.
Open your heart to that Love and you will be happy.

Judging from all of your previous questions, it sounds like you have a huge complex about appearance. No matter what you do, you're never happy. Your first priority is NOT friends, family, your new laptop, your grades... it's your looks. You're unhappy b/c you obsess over your appearance. You might need to talk to someone about this, or it may take many years to get over it.

My be because you are not giving enough care to others. U receive a lot, i understand.. Now its time to give. Call all your old friends and wish them good luck. Make a donation. Give advice to a youngster, feed a cat, cook for ur mom, take care of plants.
Trust me, you will really be happy when u only have time to give...

Well, you could be longing to earn something, try volunteering, to give back something. It also sounds like you're a teenager, right? It's very common for teens to get depression (I did, took until i was 23 to finally get over it). Maybe go talk to a doctor about it, it could be a chemical imbalance that is easily fixed.
Good luck, hon!

only you know.
'Everything seems to be handed to me so easy'. Do you have a sense of accomplishment besides getting good grades?

The things you mention are only successes of the matrerial.
Perhaps the spitritual has been neglected during all this work for the achievements you mention.
If you really want to meet someone who isn't happy...talk to someone who will try to convince you that this spiritual side doesn't exist.
