Hey, I'm in High school and this really bothers me. I can't pee in the restrooms unless I'm in a stall. When I try to pee while standing at the Urinaries I just can't, I could stand there for hours.... Is this a normal thing? Any one knows how I can get over my "fear"? (Mature answers please, and no I got no problems with my size, its quite big actually, so that's not the problem)

Honey, you are perfectly normal. You are bladder shy. I have been with my fiance for 6 years and he still can't even pee around me. Your fine and nothing you can do just relax.

Try this, worked for me, may take a few months but keep at it-- make yourself use a urinal when no one is in the restroom, and close your eyes and count to 20. Shoot for the goal of releasing your stream before the 20 count. Keep doing this, and start doing it when other guys are present--but not if the place is really busy, only when you can go ahead and take your time and duck into a stall if you just can't let fly. Just keep closing your eyes, focus on the counting, and you will find it takes your mind off other guys being there, and soon you can let fly at 10 or 5, and eventually not need to count at all. No worries about closing your eyes, as most guys beside you would not notice at all. Good luck!

Not abnormal. Many guys have this problem. Just go into the stall and sit down like you are taking a sh**. No-one will know or care.

so this might not be the easiest thing to do but will def help. On the off chance you find yourself in another city, try doing it there...You will be away from people you know or that might knwo you.
Otherwise wait til you are absolutely busting, then go in public, that will hlp desensitive you.

its called being pee shy, its very common most people cant go when someone is watching but it is common not to be able to go when other people are too near by. just relax its normal, there really isnt much you can do about it but its very common

If there are 5 urinaries, go to the one closet to the wall, if thats taken, DONT go beside that, go to number 3, and if thats one taken go to number 5. DONT ever go beside one thats being USED.
