No, Hawaii did not close any doors. Georgia's protection slammed the door. that is in basic terms information advantageous that even nonetheless any team can beat any team on any given Saturday, (Boise State, Hawaii, App. State) it incredibly is an entire distinctive ball game once you're enjoying precise tier communities on a weekly foundation. As my grandpa used to assert, " even a blind hog can locate an acorn finally". i'm not discounting the skills on Hawaii. Colt Brennan is a particular participant. yet my query is might he be the "hero" that he has been if he were dealing with SEC defenses for the final 3 years. i think of not. I do think of that he will nevertheless be drafted, yet his inventory definetly fell. I observed concern in his eyes final evening. He enable Georgia get into his head and as a NFL quarterback you won't be able to enable that happen (ie: Eli Manning). An undefeated season won't and should not be an motor vehicle value ticket to the super dance. think approximately to ascertain the total physique of artwork. As evidenced final evening, there is not any way Hawaii might have went 12 and 0 enjoying in a convention like the SEC.

Since Hawaii has not played a quality team at all this year I cannot say yes or no. However, I would have top lean on the no side.
Hawaii had a good season. They had a great great record and great stats, but in a conference playing extremely weak teams. If they were in the one of the Big 6, I doubt they would be undefeated. Hawaii could not go up against Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois and Penn State and come out eligible for the National Championship. I say the Sugar bowl is great for the rainbow Warriors, if not even a bowl too high.

If the Warriors beat Georgia on New Year's Day then they can maybe have a case but we'll never know since they won't get a chance to play LSU. OSU should be in the Rose Bowl so they're not even a consideration.

Thats a good question. I think Hawaii is the most fun team to watch. I don't think Ohio State is a great team or LSU for that matter. I think Hawaii would put up a good game against either of those teams. Colt Brennan is a great QB and should have won the Heisman.

We will never know, personally i dont think they are but they never get a chance to prove it cuz the major conference schools are afraid to play em. The game against Georgia will tell us alot. If they destroy Georgia than people can make an argument but until Hawaii gets a tougher schedule they will never be considered for the NC.
another reason we need a playoff.

HELL NO. Colt Brennan would snap in half aganst the ohio state defence. they play in the WAC for god sake and could barely beat a 4-7 mediocre team.
There true colors will show when they get killed by georgia.
