Ah, but NO NO, Mon Ami! According to ze company, Ze Perrier is NOT your average club soda hiding inside ze green bottle...........

"Perrier is a natural mineral water. As defined by French law, this means water with a stable composition and healthy properties, as certified by the department of health and the national academy of medicine........

"The Perrier spring is located in the Gard district, in the city of Vergèze, which is located in the south of France, between Nîmes and Montpellier.........

"Perrier contains only mineral salts and carbonation (CO2). It contains no sugar, caffeine or calories. Flavoured Perrier* is a beverage made with Perrier natural mineral water and essential oil extracts".............

But of course Mon Ami, it is FRENCH, so I believe zat zere must also be a hidden aphrodisiac inside each of ze little bottles!!!!

Which of course, must explain ze reason for ze exorbitant price of ze little bubbles inside ze little green bottles! OUI?

However Mon Ami, ze Syfo at my supermarket tastes just as good to me, Oui Oui!

Ah......but maybe zat is because I am of ze Italian background, rather than ze French!! Vive L'Amour!

Actually, its mineral water with natural carbonation. Club soda is tap water from a factory with carbonation induced in a metal container.

not really much difference, but there is a difference.
