Well..my gecko died a few years ago. And for about 3 months, i noticed a large growth on his eye. He was in healthy conditions and he lived alone. He didnt even hit a year old before he passed. He completely stopped eating once the growth grew. Does anyone know what may have happened to him??

Hi, I work at Petco and it was probaly mucus. Mucus is a sickness for reptiles and they will start growing little white spots and growths out of certain areas. It was probaly because of what he ate or the temperature was too low. Leopard geckos are desert geckos so they need about 85-96 degrees of heat. Sorry about your little gecko. :(

Most commonly they develop abscesses in the eye/ear area. They need to be lanced and the infection removed by a veterinarian. They usually recover fine from this if treated promptly. Your gecko most likely died from the infection.

NO neosporin!! it is not for reptiles. take it to the vet whilst they are open. the vet is the only ingredient which will help. it somewhat is a tumor in the back of the attention or a significant an infection that needs antibiotics or it could die.
