Set the plow so that it is about 1/2 inch off the road surface! Take it very slow and easy. Remember that you are driving on a slippery surface, and even when plowing you still need to allow room to stop!

Be very careful if you are plowing parking lots, if you hit a parking barrier at any speed, you can damage or destroy the plow or even the truck!! On the road be aware that there may be speed bumps, or raised manhole covers that can cause the same type of damage!

Until you get the feel of the truck. while plowing, remember that the handling will me much different, with the additional weight in the front! Watch out for traffic, there are a lot of fools out there who do not know how to drive in the snow. Remember that you may have four wheel drive, but that will not help you to stop. Even a Yugo has four wheel brakes!!!

Be Safe
