Our Y!A system is overloaded because of that.

Isn't that the point of Y!A. To ask questions and see what others opinions are? damn if it isn't then i must be in the wrong spot

Maybe there should be some kind of system where some questions are weeded out, like the ones that have already been asked a million times that week. But at the same time I suppose people might not be aware that they're asking the same questions as other people. This is the fairest way probably.

"Our" Y!A system? What, you're one of Yahoo's overworked employees? I ask because I have an active mind that is curious about many things, and Q and A feeds my habit (yes) of inquiring and finding all sorts of stuff out. And because I can't stand watching TV trash or playing cards or (shudder) Bingo. When I'm not on YA I'm at the library volunteering, reading, visiting friends, or cleaning house. Works for me.

We don't have to! We choose to.
But look on the bright side, with us crazies lounging in P&S it keeps the other sections free from the banal and pointless, ie 'what is your favourite colour' and 'which jonas brother is the hottest?', two pet hates of mine, although I could cite a dozen or more.
Basically all the teens and the childish adults, of which I confess to being one of, are out of your hair.
As for the rest of YA!, is that not the whole point?

Everyone's questions are valid. They want other's perspectives. You have the right to search in specific categories to filter out the noise if it bothers you.

I disagree, I use this site to seek answers to questions, and find it annoying that you have to answer so many other questions to do so. I couldn't give a flying shite if some goth wants to know why his dick looks weird. Why in God's name would anyone!
