Are the cheap ones you can do online sufficient?

If you don't have a will, anything you own will go to the state.

Simple wills are very inexpensive...just name a parent or relative or friend or someone to get your stuff. Better anyone than the state.

You probably don't need much life insurance, because no one depends on your income. EVERYONE should have a will. Unless you have significant assets, the wills available on-line are probably sufficient for your purposes.

I guess you should make a will.
If you don't have one and you die, you migth be leaving legal troubles to the people you love, even your parents or siblings will get into problems to solve who is getting what and those things migth even cause some problems between them.
If you have properties that deserves to do it, you think what do you want to happen with them when you are gone and make a will.

If someone dies without a will, their estate passes via what is known as "intestate succession." This is an orderly set of rules that dictate who gets someones assets if they die without a will.

To answer your question, no, you do not need a will if you are ok with having the state probate court distribute your assets. If you want to specify who gets your assets, then you will need a will.

Depends, do you want the money to go to some one who could profit from it? Your parents? SIblings? Nieces? Nephews? Charity? Or do you want big brother to get his hands on it instead?

You can do them online for free.
