what is this thing called a defur????? or how ever u spell it!!

Do you mean "defer"? It means to postpone something, or to delay it.

Do you mean "Defer" because I have never seen a word like Defur.

Defer means to put off an action until later in time.
There is an example below.

1.) The decision has been deferred by the board until next week.

2.) I made the bad decision of having deferred my homework till the lat day.

Alternatively, a defurrer is like a small ball of what looks like wire wool that you put into a kettle to stop it furring up with limescale. Hope this helps.
