The directions say to wait until you have 48 hours without rain and temperature above 50 degrees farenheit. Our weather was supposed to be cloudy with no rain for 48 hours, but it drizzled onto the deck about 26 hours after the application. The water beaded, but I am wondering if I am going to have to strip the sealant and reapply. Does anyone know what to do in this situation?

I do not like thompsons at all..but as far as the drying time..it will be fine..Thompsons is a parrafin base and if you try to ever do maintenance on it..it will have to be totally stripped, but you cannot get the parrafin out of the wood no matter how good you strip it...so staining it later on,change of color, or using any other product is out of the question...

It should be fine. Most of the sealant is in the wood.
Frankly, Thompsons isn't a very good product. If you notice any rings or spots, you might just reapply when you are sure it's won't rain again, but don't try to remove the stuff you put on. It'll be wasted effort.
