I'm just asking! I'M NEITHER MUSLIM NOR CHRISTIAN. So please don't think this question has an ulterior motive, I'm just curious and I'm not from the USA so I don't know things that might be obvious for you.

Hard work!

They have a strong family network that emphasizes the importance of good education.

Take a look at other ethnic or religious group that has similar values and you will see the same successful units thriving in America.

You won't see too many Japanese, Indians, Mormons, Cubans and such standing at welfare lines. Most of them are professionals or hold key positions in corporate or government structures.

Jews are closer to 6% of the population in the United States.

In the United States a very significant portion of the population has emigrated from poor countries. These immigrants are generally unskilled and uneducated. The majority of the Jewish population in the United States has been here for quite some time, and arrived better educated than most immigrant groups. Most of the Jewish population in the United States continues to attend college today, which is one reason why Jews have done so well compared to other minority groups.

Either way, I do not see that Jews have an inordinate amount of power or influence in the United States.

No need to explain your motives for asking a simple question... you can ask.

My answer as far as i can tell.. is money, money, money. And that spells ownership and influence and buy me a senator or two.

They are not the only ones who do this tho... just the rest don't have as much money.

They aren't any more or less influencial than other old world immigrant groups. The thing is that they haven't assimilated as much, but that isn't their fault, it's more the fault of the antisemitism that kept them isolated.
Jews I love. Zionists are a different story.

Oh so you have noticed that have you, well there's a lot of them and now you also know why we support Israel so much. Is it because Jews control our money and politics?

Because they cry foul for every little thing that others say/do about them. They overplay the Holocaust incident way too much, and then they rub their religion in my face like they're better than me. While I appreciate the suffering of their ancensors and have sympathy for them, their constant promotion of their religion turns people off.
