Yes. of course. The western world view at the beginning of the 20th century was not that held at the beginning, ditto 18th century. Everything changes.

As we speak, the $ plunge last month was not due to any event in US, credit crunch or whatever.. it was a Governor o fthe Chinese central bank saying maybe they shoudl hold a few euros as well as $ ... woudl not be imagined 5 years ago ...
