A bench warrant is a variant of an arrest warrant, which authorizes the immediate on-sight arrest of the individual subject to the bench warrant. Typically, judges issue bench warrants for persons deemed to be in contempt of court – possibly as a result of that person's failure to appear at the appointed time and date for a mandated court appearance. Bench warrants are issued in either criminal or civil court proceedings.

A bench warrant is warrant that is issued by a judge when a defendant fails to show up for court (Failure to appear) or for failure to comply with a court order. There are other reasons, but those are the most common.
Typically, the way you get arrested on a bench warrant is either by a traffic stop, or any situation where law enforcement officers run your name. If they run your name and you have a warrant you will be arrested. .
you will either be taken to jail or to the judge that signed the warrant. In order to get out you have to pay the amount assuming its a cash only bond, if there is no bond, your S.O.L. until you see the judge.

An arrest warrant issued from the bench (by a judge). It basically tells the police that the judge wants to see someone and to bring that person to the judge. They are most commonly used when a person fails to appear for a scheduled court appearance.

relax, for them to get a bench warrant for failing to look for jury accountability they had could desire to have the skill to coach data which you gained the summons... did you finished and return a questionnaire that offered information like "profession"; "have you ever been sufferer of crime" etc ?..... in case you probably did not then they don't be responsive to in case you gained word or not.

usually it's a warrant they are not actively pursuing, (think misdemeanor) but if you get stopped for a traffic violation or any kind of ticket and your name gets run in the system it will come up and you will then be arrested for it.
