Tell me why this guy still got a job!!

1. Bad relations with his players
2. Lawsuit filed against him on Sexual Harassment charges
*Undisclosed settlement to resolved the issue
3. Brought in Free Agents who can't play and made the Knicks the highest paid team in the NBA without making the playoff in the last couple of years.

When is Donald Trump stepping in and tell that he's FIRED?

HAHAHAHA

haha great coach, what consititutes as a great coach, when he failed everywhere he goes?

DON'T BE STUPID NOW....
GREAT COACH, MAKE THE PLAYOFF AND DO SOMETHING WITH THE TEAM FIRST, BEFORE YOU CAN BE CONSIDER A GREAT COACH.

OF COURSE I KNOW THE OWNER LOVES HIM BUT IF IT'S YOUR MOTHER AND SHE DOESN'T DO A GOOD JOB, YOU WOULD HAVE TO FIRED HER.

JUST BAD BUSINESS TO KEEP HIM AROUND. STARS DON'T EVEN SHOW UP TO THE GAME ANYMORE. AT LEAST THE LAKERS STILL GET SUPERSTARS ON A REGULAR BASIC, GRANTED IT'S CLOSER TO HOLLYWOOD WHERE MOST STARS LIVED BUT NEW YORK IS A MEGA MEDIA MECCA

because the people that hired him are just as stupid as isiah thomas is. this is sad man... isiah use to be one of my all-time favorite players and people... some where along the way he... i don't know... flipped... body snatched by some alien race and was replaced with a dysfunctional clone? all i know is that he was a hero to me and many inner city youths. as i grew up i started reading about how he was as a player and a person. i didn't want to believe it then, but since that time its become evident that he has a lot of issues he's never worked out. he needs to leave the nba as he has been poison to many franchises, toronto, indy (he was the coach when the malice at the palace occurred), new york's ineptitude and of course essentially single handily burying the CBA with poor money and location decisions for the teams in that league. some one in the league needs to force the knicks to fire isiah thomas.

The not likely but hey anything is possible reason: Isiah has something on Dolan and he can't fire him.

The real reason: Pride. Dolan is just being stubborn. He doesn't want to have to admit what a horrible mistake he made hiring Thomas in the first place. It is true he had a hall of fame basketball career on the court but his track record as a GM, owner, and coach has been a disaster, everywhere he went has been a failure. The Knicks could go 0-82 one season and Dolan would just give Thomas a $30million dollar 5 year extention. The only way Thomas goes is if Dolan goes. Too bad, the Knicks were once a proud organization that saw the like of Walt Fraizer and Patrick Ewing. They were in it to win it every year. Now they're a joke. It doesn't matter who has the worse record numbers wise, the Knicks are and will probably continue to be for years to come the worst team in the league.

I don't know. I mean he was a great player in his time but now as a coach he is bad!!! Either way he most likely will stay because the owner probably liked him when he was actually on the court.

He'll be fired eventually, and when he does, you'll never see him again. He's worked for his last team in the NBA.

Maybe he can be Bill Laimbeer's assistant coach for the Detroit Shock :-)

He was Steve Nash's idol once! Isiah Thomas is a GREAT coach. He just hasn't done it yet.

Because Jim Dolan loves him, and Jim Dolan owns the team.

I don't understand why the league doesn't do something. NY is too big of a market to have a crappy team.
