For me it was John Lennon, there are many others that I felt really sad when they died but John's death made me shed tears.

I was 7 when Elvis died and cried a little because I saw my mom and sister crying. Whenever I have a bad day I listen to Elvis and perk right up. It's a shame he died young, but life goes on. I also cried when John Lennon and Princess Diana died. It's sad to think that we as individuals cry over people we never met, yet we felt like we knew them. Go figure! Do we really cry or just mourn the loss of a great figure in history?

I cried only once in my adult life and it was when my Grandfather died
i was raised by my grandparents so he was basically my father and a very hard man
I've had several friends who died and even went through a divorce and left many relationships
hell my pop was the one who taught me to bury those feelings and draw strength from them but when he died I'll admit i wept like a 6 year old girl

I cried when James Brown died last year on Christmas day and I cried for a whole day when I heard that my favorite Wrestler Eddie Guerrero die and also I cried when I heard another one of my favorite Wrestler Chris Benoit die about three months ago. god I miss them much and I don't know if Pope is considering a Celebrity but I cried when he pass away and so does everyone else.
