just got 2 notices of intended prosecution. same date, same place but different streets, 6 points on license, £60 penalty each. why? i exeeded speed by 11 mph (should have driven max 30 mph) what a crime....anyway I nearly sold my car and am leaving Uk in 7 days, how do i go thru this now as they want me to send letter confirming i was a driver then, i will need to pay and send my license and they will resent - all will take weeks, and i will be thousands miles away from Uk not looking to be back - what do i do?

It depends where you go and where your driving licence is registered. If you are going to another EEC country you will need to sort it out before you go, they will find you! If you're going out of EEC you may get away with it, but again it depends on your next country of residence. If the car is registered in your name the penalties will show up if someone does a check. Let's hope they do!
Your speeding is a crime, if you look at it as a percentage it's 30% more than the designated limit. These limits are normally imposed because you are near a school or a residential area, where a child could run into the road. Be thankful it's only a speeding fine and you didn't injure or kill a child.

Reply to the notices of prosecution so that you will have no criminal records and will have no problem in the future.

I agree, take responsiblility. They may have an extradition treaty with wherever you're going and the fines may end up as something worse, possibly jail time!
